Daiso Natural Pack (Charcoal Mask?) Review

After months of being skeptical about this product, I finally gave in! I’ve read good reviews about this product and I ought to give it a try.

What is it? It is a natural pack that is formulated with natural ingredients from Oak trees. It removes oils and all dirt and deeply cleans the pore, leaving your skin clearer with less visible pores.

I’m actually confused with this product, other bloggers said it was a charcoal mask, but I haven’t read anything “charcoal” about it in the English translation at the back of the tube. Yes the instructions were now in English as well! Old tubes are in pure Japanese.

I googled “oak tree – skincare” to enlighten me up a bit but all I can see was skin allergies from oak trees lol! So I stopped and went ahead in using the product anyways.

How it feels on my skin: I feel itchy while waiting for the mask to dry up but it is tolerable. It’s tight on the skin, I can barely laugh because it will ruin the mask. And boy it hurts big time when I removed it :((

Consistency: I’ve read in a certain blog that it is runny.  I expected it was the watery type but it wasn’t. I’m happy with the way it is formulated, very easy to apply to your skin.

Scent: If you used St. Ives Kaolin Clay mask, that’s how it smells. *well close* it’s not very strong like the St. Ives though.

Price: 85php at Daiso/Saizen stores in PH

TIP: when buying from the store, make sure you’ll read the label “Natural Pack” as there were other products that looks the same but they’re different. Ex: Cleansing Cream, etc. And oh, be ready for the pain haha :)

Bottomline: Will I buy it again? Not for now. I'll use this again but on the nose and chin area only :) EDIT: no, definitely not a repurch for me, and I never used it again.
